Was für ein Song! Ideal zum runter kommen. Ideal zum entspannen. Ideal zum träumen. Ideal zum sein. Ideal einfach! Ich habe mich in diesen Song verliebt – es muss nicht immer boom boom und schnell sein. Es darf auch ruhig und gefühlvoll sein. Ein Song der Geschichten seinen freien Lauf lässt. Ein Song der dich auf eine Reise mitnimmt. Ein Song der nach Sonne riecht. Der Song von Nick Mellow, ein Junger ambitionierter Schweizer Musiker aus Aarau, hat mich von Beginn an in seinen Bann gezogen. Das mag ich. Begeisterung von Anfang an. Ihr setzt euch auf den Boden, auf eine riesige Picknick Decke. Sie ist kariert, rot-weiss. Die Sonne kitzelt an der Nase. Ihr bemerkt, dass ihr vor Entspannung eingepennt seid. Das Kitzeln kommt jedoch nicht von der Sonne, nein es ist von einem Brummer namens Mai Käfer. Vor Schreck springt ihr auf. Aber alles easy, er fliegt der Sonne entgegen und somit weg von euch. Währenddem complete auf euren Ohren dröhnt, bemerkt ihr wie euch die Picknick Decke an den Ort eurer Träume bringt. Complete, ein Song der Träume wahr werden lässt. Nick Mellow hat es echt geschafft, dass ich nicht weg klicke beim reinhören. Einerseits liegt es an seiner genialen Stimme, andererseits an der Melodie des Song selbst. Ein wenig erinnert er mich an James Morrison oder John Mayer. Ich wünsche ihm auf alle Fälle, dass seine Lieder in der Welt da draussen abgespielt werden und sich wie ein Lauffeuer verbreiten! Am 21. November spielt er im Kulturkeller Höngg in Zürich – ich würde sagen, save the date! Feel lovely, „Feel Better“!

What a song! Ideal to come down. Ideal for relaxing. Ideal for dreaming. Ideal to be. just ideal! I fell in love with this song – it don’t needs to be always boom boom and fast. It may be also quiet and sensitive. A song which let his stories run around. A song who takes you on a journey. A song that smells like the sun. The song by Nick Mellow, a young ambitious swiss musicians from Aarau, has pulled me from the beginning in its spell. I like that. Enthusiasm from the beginning. You’re sitting on the floor, on a huge picnic blanket. She’s checkered, red and white. The sun tickles the nose. You notice that you’re fall asleep cause of the relaxation. The tickle doesn’t comes from the sun, no, it’s a whopper called May beetles. Startled, you jump on. But everything’s easy, he flies towards the sun and away from you. In mean time complete is blaring on your ears and you notice, that the picnic blanket getting you to the place of your dreams. Complete, a song who let dreams come true. Nick Mellow was successful, I didn’t skip his song. On one hand, it’s cause of his brilliant voice, on the other hand, it’s of the melody of the song itself. A little bit he reminds me of James Morrison or John Mayer. I wish him, that his songs be played out there in the world and spread like wildfire!
